ASUS, a leading server systems, server motherboards, workstation and workstation motherboards provider, today announced that a total of 246 world records have been set by its rack servers, including GPGPU (general-purpose computing on graphics processing units) servers and multi-node servers. As recorded by the Standard Performance Evaluation Corporation (SPEC) for benchmarks measuring computing-intensive performance, ASUS dual-processor (2P) servers ESC8000 G4 and RS720Q-E9 achieved the highest scores for compute-intensive applications, and the ASUS single-processor (1P) RS300-E10 server set 70 new best-performance records. Each of the new, record-breaking configurable ASUS servers are designed to be highly scalable and to work seamlessly for infrastructure visualization, data analysis, AI training workloads or any general computing applications.
