BenQ Launches TK800 4K HDR Projector For Big-Screen Experience

BenQ, the electronics company from Taiwan, has launched its home entertainment system TK800 (Digital Light Processing) projector. This will give the viewers a 4K big-screen experience. It is enabled with HDR10 and is designed for brighter viewing spaces. You can take home the amazing visual experience of the big screen for Rs. 1.99 lakhs. The TK800 DLP Projector is available at retail stores across India.

The projector features 4K 3840×2160 UHD resolution with 8.3 million distinct pixels. This results in optimised HDR to enhance brightness and contrast range with one-step image optimisation and automatic HDR natural colour rendition. The TK800’s 4K colour wheel achieves 92 per cent of Rec. 709 colour gamut as stated by the company. This happens in conjunction with 3000-lumen high brightness to ensure that the projected picture quality in excellent even in bright environments with ambient lighting such as a bright and well-lit living room.

The new BenQ 4K HDR projector is a visual treat for sports lovers. It offers dedicated football and sport audio-visual modes as per BenQ’s statement. The Football Mode will preserve natural skin tones while giving an intense green to the grass and making the announcer’s commentary legible despite the noise in the open-air stadium.  In the Sports Mode, BenQ will ensure that the viewer gets a near live experience by prioritising clear acoustical quality for the announcer’s voice. It makes the minutest details such as squeaking sneakers, referee whistles and ice scraping under skates audible to give a surreal experience of watching a sporting extravaganza right at one’s house.

The BenQ TK800 DLP projector beats all records with its lamp life. It has an industry-leading lamp life of up to 15,000 hours which is better than any other home entertainment projector that is currently available in the market. The projector also offers the newly-upgraded CinemaMaster Audio 2 sound system. The sound system is upgraded with a wider frequency range and 5-watt power and utilizes an aluminium driver diaphragm.
