– Back-to-Basics H55N-USB3 Overclocking Challenge –
GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY Co., Ltd, a leading manufacturer of motherboards, graphics cards and other computing hardware solutions recently announced a new overclocking competition in conjunction with HWBOT.org called the H55 Mini-ITX Contest.
With an eye on going back to the hobbyist roots of overclocking, GIGABYTE and HWBOT thought it would be a good time to host a competition centered around the basics of overclocking. So, during the month of August, show us how far you can push your GA-H55N-USB3 motherboard and submit your Super PI 32m scores on HWBOT. Since not everyone has access to LN2, we’ve split the competition into two categories; Stage 1 we’ve limited the CPU speed to 4000 MHz, and Stage 2 has no CPU speed limit.
Since most of you are in this sport for the love of overclocking, and not for the love of prizes, we’ve decided not to announce any. That’s not to say there won’t be any at the end of the competition for the winners, but for the true overclocking purists out there, it gives you the chance to show the community you are doing this for fun (and maybe just a little for the bragging rights).
We are also looking to see who is the fan favorite, so make sure to vote using HWBOT’s voting system (there might just be a lucky draw prize in it for those of you who vote). Good luck everyone and have fun!

Beginning 7thJuly 2010, ASUS launched the biggest service initiative network for Motherboards in India. Named the ASUS E.L.I.T.E. service, this is one of the best and the largest service that ensures free pick up and return facility for motherboards in 215 cities from Tier II and Tier III cities of India. Also by providing an exhaustive list of 55 service centres that provide a single day repair or swap facility, the ELITE service is poised to bring the traditional wait and complexities of getting motherboards repaired a simple yet free task. This will also ensure that the turn-around-time (TAT) is reduced to a bare minimum thus ensuring happy end users!
The innovative service initiative - E.L.I.T.E. - ensures effective service support for ASUS motherboards across the length and breadth of the country from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. We did mention that this facility will be offered for free! The offering will cover the servicing and repair of ASUS Motherboards for customers whose shops are more than 30 kms away from existing Rashi/Digicomp service centers. While the existing service centers already provide excellent support to most areas in the 30 Km. range, it will be the far flung areas of India which will really benefit from this extensive service initiative taken by ASUS. The service also reinforces the DOA policy of 60 days for ASUS Motherboards from the distributor invoice date making it an absolute win situation for ASUS motherboard dealers across the country.
Here’s how the process works -
1. Customers first call the Toll-free number 1800-209-0365 and provide all the details to the Call centre
2. Users will receive a SMS of the same within 1 hour of the call logging
3. The Motherboards will be picked up and sent to the Servicing centers spread all over the country after proper verification
4. Working within the am/pm structure, the products will be collected from customers on the basis of their location
5. The same will be delivered to the nearest service center which after repairing will return the motherboards to the customers
In short in the minimum time, the maximum efficient service for customers
No doubt that with the E.L.I.T.E. Service initiative, ASUS aims to not only reinforce their number 1 position in the sales of Motherboards but also consolidate its position as the company that provides the most end user satisfaction by delivering on the promise of lowest TAT. This innovative service program reaffirms the absolute commitment to customers.
